Evripidou Engineers had been assigned and provided services concerning the Structural Design and Supervision for the extension of the said Power Station. In particular, 3 identical structures were designed and installed to provide adequate support to catalysts that are attached to the main power generators to reduce emission of pollutants. Various restrictions due to the existing structures, dynamic loading conditions relate with pressurized ducts and pipes, strict time frames for both design and construction stage, as well as the intensive health and safety requirements, definitely gave this design and supervision a unique character and nature.
